Endeavor Health is seeking a Mental Health Technician in Naperville, IL. This part-time role (24 hours) covers the night shift (11:00pm-7:30am) with rotating holidays and weekends, under RN supervision.

You will provide direct patient care for behavioral health patients, ensuring safety and contributing to treatment plans within a busy hospital setting. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, ability to de-escalate and manage behaviors, and a valid driver's license if off-site duties

Qualifikationen

• A High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to demonstrate de-escalation and behavior management techniques
• A valid driver’s license may be required for off-site location duties and evidence of automobile liability coverage

Aufgaben

• Delivers, sets up and removes meal trays; assists with nutritional intake and documents intake
• Assists with activities of daily living and hygiene as assigned
• Carries out plan of care considering age-specific needs and infection control standards
• Transports/escorts patients as needed and completes admission documentation
• Maintains a therapeutic milieu and communicates patient status with RN
