Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center is hiring a Mental Health Technician for the 3rd shift, including weekends. The MHT provides direct patient care in a residential behavioral health setting, supervising patients and supporting daily living activities to monitor social behavior and clinical status.

Qualifications

• HSD/GED REQUIRED.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, social work, human services or related field.
• Experience: Six months in residential psychiatry or similar childcare setting.
• Background: Must pass Level 2 Background Screening.
• Pre-employment drug screening.
• CPR Certification and Handle with Care training before restraining procedures.
• Ability to read and follow policies and treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Supervise patients in treatment, recreation, and educational activities.
• Ensure patient safety and apply least restrictive interventions.
• Monitor changes in social behaviors and clinical status.
