Job summary

Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Mental Health Tech PRN for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM), including weekends, to support adolescents facing behavioral and emotional challenges. This role offers shift differential and opportunities for career development within Universal Health Services and its 300+ subsidiaries.

Candidates will complete Level 2 background screening and pre-employment drug testing; a high school diploma or GED is required, while a Bachelor’s

Qualifications

• HSD/GED required.
• Preferred: Bachelor degree in psychology, sociology, social work, human services or like field (increase in wages).
• Experience: Preferred six month's experience in residential psychiatry or other childcare facility/agency experience in comparable position.
• Background: Must be able to pass a Level 2 Background Screening as required by AHCA.
• Pre-employment drug screening.
• CPR Certification and Handle with Care training must be completed prior to assisting with restraining procedures (within 7 days of employment).

Responsibilities

• Avaibility during 2nd shift. 3pm -11:30 pm. Including weekends.
• Shift Differential offered 3pm - 7 am.
