Summit Oaks Hospital is seeking a Mental Health Associate for the night shift to join our treatment team. You will provide continuous patient care, supervision, and interaction with patients ranging from preschool to geriatrics depending on the unit. The MHA will take vital signs, lead educational groups, and respond to codes as needed.

Requirements include a B.S. in a health-related field and psychiatric experience; CPR and First Aid, Verbal De-escalation, and Handle with Care certifications

Formación

• CPR and First Aid, Verbal De-escalation and Handle with Care certifications required or to be provided by the hospital.
• Experience in psychiatric settings preferred and inpatient exposure is valued.
• Technical ability to take vital signs and participate in patient education.

Responsabilidades

• Act as a key member of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care and supervision.
• Interact with patients, role model professional behavior, and monitor patients across units.
• Take vital signs, conduct educational groups, and respond to codes when necessary.
