Job summary

Homewood Living Plum Creek is seeking a Night Shift Medical Technician to assist residents with daily living activities and administer medications under licensed supervision. The role requires a state Medication Technician certification and a willingness to travel within shifts for patient care.

In this position you will document administrations, monitor resident conditions, and participate in care planning while maintaining strict confidentiality and adherence to facility policies.

Qualifications

• Must be certified on state registry as a Medication Technician within 120 days of employment.
• Ability to lift and transfer up to 30 pounds frequently during the shift.
• Stand, walk, bend and reach for an 8-hour shift.
• CPR certification and First Aid preferred.
• Licensed Nursing Assistant in the state is a plus.
• Good English communication, both written and verbal, to carry out care plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and encourage independence.
• Administer and record medications as ordered by the physician.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to the Head Nurse.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and comply with policies.
• Support resident nutrition and assist with personal hygiene care.
• Participate in planning resident care and facilitate daily living activities.
