Discovery Commons at Wildewood is seeking a Care/Medication Technician to provide hands-on support for residents, ensuring a safe, compassionate living environment during 7pm–7am shifts. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health needs, and support the caregiving team.

Required CNA certification or Med Tech license, high school diploma, and 18+ years old; CPR/First Aid preferred; prior senior-care experience is a plus. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualificações

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred.
• Med Tech License
• High School diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR Certification preferred
• First Aid Certification preferred
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Care for a designated group of residents during the shift; check on them regularly.
• Observe, report and document symptoms and condition changes (skin, weight, appetite, activity).
• Respond to security system and resident call bells promptly.
• Notify supervisor/Health Care Coordinator if care needs increase.
• Assist with continence management and sanitation of resident areas.
• Serve and collect food trays; report meal refusals or loss of appetite.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas.
• Follow standard care precautions for cleanliness, hygiene and health.
• Help residents maintain independence and dignity in daily living activities.
• Engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities.
• Greet and assist all internal and external customers and team members.
• Perform resident laundry as assigned.

Conhecimentos

Certified Nurse’s Aid certification

Med Tech License

High School diploma/GED

18 years of age
