Job summary

Liberty Senior Living is currently seeking an experienced Medication Technician (CNA) to administer medications and provide nursing care for residents. The role requires completing the 75-hour course and the company Medication Administration course, with the ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.

Background checks and a drug-free workplace are required. The position is full-time, night shift (11p-7a) with weekend coverage as indicated.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aide or completion of the 75-hour course plus Medication Administration course.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly or ten times per shift.
• Experience with medication administration and nursing care procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provides medication administration for residents.
• Takes and documents orders, receives medications, and administers medications.
• Performs nursing tasks such as taking vital signs and administering enemas and suppositories as required.
• Follows universal precautions and hazardous chemical procedures to ensure safety of residents and staff.
• Communicates with physicians and health-care professionals to ensure quality nursing and medication orders.
