Job summary

Fieldstone Village at Keizer Ridge in Keizer, Oregon seeks a part-time Night Medication Aide to safely administer and assist with routine and non-injectable medications under the supervision of the Director of Nursing Services.

You will support resident dignity and independence, document care, coordinate with physicians and families, and participate in trainings, with a night shift differential and growth opportunities within the Cascadia Senior Living community.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Current First Aid and CPR Card.
• Must pass a criminal background and fingerprint check.
• Ability to relate positively with residents, families and staff.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays/overtime.

Responsibilities

• Administers and assists with routine and non-injectable medications per physician orders.
• Follows nursing practice and doctors’ orders under supervision of the Director of Nursing Services.
• Records medications and treatments in resident records and notes omissions or PRN meds.
• Documents care provided and communicates changes in condition to the Director of Nursing Services.
• Monitors residents’ vital signs, weights and overall condition as directed.
• Ensures medication room, cart and supplies are clean and orderly.
• Communicates with physicians, pharmacies, residents and families for timely medication delivery.
• Supports residents’ dignity, independence and choice in daily activities.
• Attends required trainings and meetings; assists caregivers as needed.
