Job summary

Anthem Memory Care is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to deliver health services under supervision in a memory care community. The role involves managing medications, coordinating with medical staff, and helping ensure a safe, engaged living environment for residents.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferably 3+ years in geriatric settings. Certification and CPR/First Aid are required as per program guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or vocational training required.
• Minimum three years of experience, preferably in a geriatric setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and emergency procedures.
• Experience with medication handling and resident records.

Responsibilities

• Assesses health and safety needs of residents and oversees medical care.
• Oversees social model of assisted living operations.
• Assists with family communication and discusses resident conditions.
• Provides input to the clinical services director and participates in inspections.
• Acts as liaison with doctors and residents and coordinates transportation when needed.
• Performs duties safely and provides courteous service to residents and staff.
