Job summary

Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking a Night shift Medical Laboratory Technologist to perform clinical laboratory testing under established protocols, ensure QA compliance, and maintain instruments and records. The role supports proficiency testing, data accuracy, and team hand-offs in a high-throughput lab environment.

Minimum 1 year lab experience is preferred; MT/MLS certifications are listed in requirements. Sign-on bonus eligibility is noted.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year laboratory experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Medical Science required; master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accuracy in patient, quality assurance, proficiency, and competency testing.
• Performs clinical laboratory testing per approved protocols under supervision.
• Maintains instrumentation and records; supports quality assurance activities.
• Communicates findings clearly and hand-offs to team members per procedure.
• Contributes to inspection readiness and laboratory improvement initiatives.
