Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Sciences is required.
• Master’s degree in Medical Technology is preferred.
• Certification for Medical Technologist MLS (ASCP) or MT (ASCP) or AMT or MT (AAB) is required or preferred.
• Specialist Certification in discipline (preferred) such as SH, SM, SBB, or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Receive specimens, establish and maintain positive identification of specimens.
• Determine suitability of specimen.
• Acquire/prepare reagents as needed.
• Perform instrument maintenance and calibration.
