Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Groton/Nashoba Valley seeks a Medical Technologist for the Core Laboratory on the night shift. You will perform a variety of tests across Hematology, Chemistry and Blood Bank, ensure quality control, and operate AU680/AU480/Access2 among other duties.

The role requires CLIA supervision eligibility and a Bachelor's in Medical Technology. This full-time, 40-hour night position offers on-site work at Nashoba Valley with potential travel to Marlborough, and a comprehensive

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Medical Technology.
ASCP MT certification preferred.
Three years of related laboratory experience required.
Must qualify as General Supervisor under CLIA regulations (42 CFR 493.1461) with appropriate education.
Experience across Hematology, Chemistry, Blood Bank or Microbiology is expected.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of laboratory tests and report data for diagnosis and treatment.
Operate Hematology/Chemistry instruments and maintain QC procedures.
Maintain instrument uptime and logs; ensure supplies and reagents are stocked.
Provide guidance and consultation to lower-level technologists.
