Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MT (ASCP) or MLS (ASCP) eligible within 1 year of hire.
• Proficiency in testing procedures and QA guidelines; documentation of non-conformances.
• Ability to manage reagents, inventory, and testing supplies to minimize waste.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proficiency and follows testing procedures per QA guidelines.
• Prepares reagents and maintains supplies; controls departmental waste.
• Offers problem-solving for test systems via appropriate channels.
• Reviews / revises procedures to meet accreditation standards (CAP, TJC, OSHA).
• Maintains real-time shift communication with leadership on issues.
• Participates in staff meetings and project initiatives.
• Engages in competency assessment where qualified.
