Job summary

St. Croix Health in Wisconsin seeks a Medical Lab Scientist/Technician for nights (7 on/7 off). This full-time 0.8 FTE role performs phlebotomy, specimen collection, and routine lab analyses under supervision, serving patients of all ages.

You will participate in quality control, equipment maintenance, and timely reporting of results in LIS/EMR, with opportunities to contribute to quality improvement with a dedicated team.

Responsibilities

• Collect and process orders and specimens: phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Ensure specimens are collected in appropriate containers and properly labeled.
• Document received, entered and released orders in LIS and EMR.
• Perform quality control checks and document results.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems and log resolutions.
