Job summary

Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital in Sullivan, Missouri is seeking a compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant to provide direct patient care during night shifts. This part-time role supports licensed nurses and helps maintain a safe, healing environment for patients across the Medical/Surgical unit.

You will assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, document care, and communicate patient needs to the nursing team. Benefits eligible; rotating weekends and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant certification required.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Implements and provides direct patient care under the supervision of the nurse, assisting with ADLs, vital signs, intake/output, fall and pressure ulcer prevention, catheter care, phlebotomy or point-of-care testing as requested.
• Collects clinical data and reports changes in patient status to the nurse.
• Assists nurse with patient and family education and documents care activities with proper terminology; may act as 1:1 safety sitter as needed.
• Ensures availability of supplies and equipment to meet patient needs.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
