Parkland Health Center in Farmington, MO is seeking a CNA/Nurse Assistant to provide direct patient care 36 hours per week, nights 6:30p–7a with rotating weekends and holidays. The role supports licensed nurses, performs ADLs, takes vitals, and ensures patient safety.

Qualificações

• Direct patient care under supervision of licensed staff.
• Collects vital information on patients and reports changes to nursing staff.
• Acts as 1:1 patient safety sitter as necessary.

Responsabilidades

• Implements direct patient care under the supervision of the nurse, promoting patient and family centered care.
• Collects clinical data and information on patients, and reports changes in patient status to the nurse.
• Assists nurse with patient and family education. Documents all patient care activities with medical terminology.
• Ensures availability of supplies and equipment to meet each patient's needs.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
