Job summary

Missouri Baptist Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care on the Neuro unit. The role supports licensed nurses, assists with Activities of Daily Living, collects vital signs, performs phlebotomy or point of care testing, and documents care accurately. Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week.

Benefit eligible with holiday and weekend rotation. CNA certification required and high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Direct patient care under the supervision of the nurse.
• Ability to collect vital signs and monitor patient status.
• Document all patient care activities using medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Implements direct patient care under the supervision of the nurse.
• Collects clinical data and reports changes in patient status.
• Assists nurse with patient/family education and 1:1 safety sitter as needed.
• Ensures availability of supplies and equipment to meet patient needs.
• Participates in safety, quality and regulatory compliance initiatives.
