LACOSTA Facility Support Services in LaGrange, GA is hiring a Material Handler to organize storage areas and maintain inventory. The role involves operating forklifts, pulling materials to fulfill orders, and verifying deliveries, with attention to stock accuracy and safety protocols.

The position requires background checks, forklift experience, and the ability to lift 40 lb. This is a 12-hour shift, with weekly pay and a starting rate of $16.50–$17.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• 6 months of forklift operation.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, reach, bend and lift 40 lbs.
• Wear LACOSTA shirt, steel-toed boots/shoes, and any PPE required.

Responsibilities

• Organize storage areas and maintain inventory.
• Arrange stock efficiently using forklifts, pallets, cranes, etc.
• Pull material to fulfill orders properly.
• Receive and check incoming pick tickets.
• Check deliveries to ensure material quality.
• Document orders, material and stock movements.
• Monitor inventory levels and suggest new orders when needed.

Job Skills / Requirements

Job Schedule: 12hr shifts, Rotating Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

• Day Shift: 6:00PM-6:15AM

Pay Rate: Paid weekly (every Friday)

• $16.50

Job duties : Responsible for organizing the storage areas and maintaining inventory.

• Organize stock in the most efficient way using forklifts, pallets, cranes, etc.
• Pull material to fulfill orders properly
• Receive and check incoming pick tickets
• Check incoming deliveries to ensure ordered material meets quality standards
• Document order, material and any stock movements
• Monitor inventory levels and suggest new orders when needed

Requirements:

• Pass background checks and drug screening
• Experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate or similar position
• 6 months of forklift operation
• Physical requirements: walking, standing, reaching, bending, and lifting 40lbs independently.
• Wear LACOSTA Shirt, steel-toed boots/shoes, and any other required PPE
• Remove all jewelry and accessories
