Job summary

LACOSTA Facility Support Services in North Carolina is seeking a dedicated Material Handler/Forklift Operator to safely operate sit-down electric forklifts and maintain clean, orderly facilities.

The role involves moving recyclables and trash, executing routes and pickup times, designating trash areas, sorting materials, and following safety regulations. Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 3rd Shift 9PM–7AM, with weekly pay of $15.00/hr. Background checks and drug screens are conducted.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operation experience in a warehouse/industrial setting.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and PPE in warehouse environments.
• Ability to follow routes and schedules for recycling/trash disposal.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down electric forklifts safely to move recycling/trash.
• Execute routes and pickup times for recycling and trash removal.
• Designate areas for each type of trash and sort materials accordingly.

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler/Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safe operation of our sit down electric forklifts. They will also be maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday

• 3rd Shift: 9PM-7AM

Pay: Paid Weekly (every Friday)

• $15.00/hr

Duties

• Responsible for operating forklifts and to move recycling/trash within the warehouse.
• Executing routes and pickup times and areas of recycling and trash removal.
• Designating the appropriate areas for each type of trash
• Sorting through recycling/trash
• Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.

Experience

• Previous experience in forklift operation
• Experience with industrial/warehouse settings.
