Job summary

LACOSTA Facility Support Services in Loudon, TN is seeking a full-time forklift operator. The role requires operating forklifts and other machinery to move products within the warehouse, with a 2-2-3 rotating schedule and a 7:00 AM-7:00 PM day shift.

Pay is $16.50 per hour, paid weekly, with weekends and safety protocols including background checks and drug screening. Wear required PPE and comply with all safety regulations; physical duties include lifting up to 50 lbs.

(Example: Tues, Wed, Sat, Sun; then Mon, Thurs, Fri)

Pay Rate: Paid weekly (every Friday)

• $16.50/hr

Job Description: Responsible for operating forklifts and other heavy machinery to move products within the warehouse and loading/unloading trucks.

• Ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished products for final distribution.
• Contributes to orderly operation of stock/materials storage area.
• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying and supplies listed on production orders.
• Locates and packs materials for shipping.
• Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, loading, and securing product.
• Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
• Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections.
• Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.
• Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Pass background checks and drug screening
• Minimum 2 years of forklift experience
• Physical requirements: walking, standing, reaching, bending, and lifting 50lbs independently.
• Wear LACOSTA Shirt, steel-toed boots/shoes, long pants, and any other required PPE
• Remove all jewelry and accessories
