Job summary

LACOSTA Facility Support Services in Mebane, NC is seeking a dedicated Janitor/Material Handler. The role includes maintaining cleanliness, operating a forklift, and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment.

Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM. This is a full-time first shift position on weekends, with benefits such as health and vision insurance, 401K, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Custodial or janitorial experience preferred.

Job Skills / Requirements

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, being comfortable operating a Forklift , and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all.

Schedule : Friday-Sunday

• 7PM-7:30AM

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.


• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.


• Transport manufacturing waste via forklift within warehouse.


• Conduct thorough cleaning of windows, walls, and surfaces as needed.


• Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts throughout the facility.


• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as required.


• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized.

Experience

• Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory.


• Basic Forklift knowledge


• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.


• Knowledge of commercial cleaning standards and practices is beneficial.


• Experience with industrial cleaning methods is advantageous.
