Velociti Night Manager will oversee janitorial operations at a high-volume facility in Pittsburgh, leading a team of up to 20 staff and coordinating daily cleaning and event-related cleanup to maintain a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or facilities services experience required.
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Experience managing a team of 10+ employees preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities.
• Flexibility with shift availability to support operations and events.
• Must be able to perform basic janitorial duties when needed.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of up to 20 janitorial employees.
• Oversee daily cleaning operations and ensure facilities meet quality standards.
• Coordinate staffing, assignments, breaks, and daily work schedules.
• Support cleaning and setup needs associated with events.
• Conduct inspections and address quality or performance issues.
• Train, coach, and provide direction to team members.
• Monitor attendance and communicate staffing concerns to leadership.
• Maintain adequate supplies and equipment for daily operations.
• Partner with site leadership to address operational needs.
• Respond to event-related cleaning requirements, including pre-event, during-event, and post-event services.
• Perform basic janitorial duties as needed to support the team and operation.
• Other duties as assigned.
