Job summary

Velociti Services Co in Baltimore, MD is seeking an experienced Night Manager to oversee janitorial and floor care at a large facility. You will manage a team of 5–10 cleaners and floor technicians and ensure services are performed to established standards.

• Strong floor care experience required.
• Terrazzo floor care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage nightly janitorial and floor care operations for a large facility.
• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of 5-10 cleaners and floor technicians.
• Ensure cleaning and floor care services are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Conduct regular quality inspections and address performance or service issues.
• Oversee floor care activities, including stripping, waxing, buffing, scrubbing, and maintenance.
• Ensure proper use, maintenance, and storage of cleaning and floor care equipment.
• Train and develop team members while maintaining accountability for performance.
• Manage staffing and assist with coverage when needed.
• Communicate operational updates, staffing concerns, and facility issues to leadership.
• Ensure all employees follow company policies, safety procedures, and facility requirements.
• Assist with janitorial and floor care duties when needed.
• Help maintain strong working relationships with facility contacts and leadership.
• Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

• Large facility environment with regular movement throughout the facility.
• Must be able to work on your feet and walk throughout the facility as needed.
• Overnight work environment, Monday-Friday, 9:00 PM-5:00 AM.
