Job summary

gpac is seeking several experienced Maintenance Technicians to join its growing team in the Green Bay, WI area. This hands-on role focuses on diagnosing equipment failures and performing effective repairs, not simply replacing parts, with a 2-2-3 schedule.

You will work with mechanical, electrical, PLC, hydraulic, and automated systems, troubleshoot production equipment, and support preventive maintenance while adhering to food safety, GMP, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of food manufacturing maintenance OR 5+ years of other manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Electrical and PLC troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with hydraulics and automated production equipment.
• Experience with boilers, HVAC, CIP, wastewater, spiral freezers, flow wrappers, cartoning/packaging equipment, or similar systems is a plus.
• Experience writing/editing SOPs is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment.
• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and controls; programming is not required.
• Maintain hydraulic and automated production systems.
• Respond to breakdowns and restore production quickly and safely.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Support equipment reliability and continuous improvement.
• Follow food safety, GMP, LOTO, and plant safety procedures.
