Job summary

gpac is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our manufacturing facility in the United States. The role focuses on installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include using hand tools, meters, and material handling gear; performing preventative and unscheduled maintenance; and reading manuals/work orders. The candidate should be able to lift heavy loads and work in varied weather conditions.

Qualifications

• At least one year maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of PLCs preferred.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and lift heavy loads.

Responsibilities

• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
• Install and maintain production machines and equipment.
• Perform unscheduled repairs and preventative maintenance of equipment.
• Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair throughout the facility.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
• Repair and operate a variety of power tools and equipment.
