Job summary

Amgen in Rhode Island is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Nights to operate and maintain electrical power systems at the ARI site. You will work a 12-hour rotating schedule (7PM–7AM) and report to the D Shift Utilities Manager, with a 2–6 week onboarding period.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (or an associate degree) and electrical maintenance experience; Rhode Island licenses preferred. Expect a competitive benefits package and a notable shift differential for nights.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1 year of electrical maintenance or military experience, or an Associate degree.
• Preferred Rhode Island licenses or the ability to obtain RI electrical license.
• 5+ years electrical and utilities experience; industrial electrical generation and distribution experience (12,470/480/208/120 V).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain electrical power generation and distribution systems.
• Maintain backup power and UPS systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair and install electrical equipment.
• Support building fire alarm system operation and troubleshooting.
• Perform scheduled maintenance across the ARI site.
