Job summary

Amgen Rhode Island (ARI) maintenance facility is seeking a Nights Maintenance Tech to support production equipment, perform routine maintenance, and ensure reliability across multiple site areas. The role includes a rotating 12-hour schedule (7PM–7AM) with a 15% shift differential and Sundays premium pay.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in mechanical maintenance, familiarity with CMMS (Maximo), and the ability to read P&IDs; flexibility for overtime is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED with 1 year of maintenance or military experience, or an Associate degree.
• 3+ years mechanical maintenance with exposure to sanitary processing equipment and systems.
• Knowledge of pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience in a regulated environment such as cGMP manufacturing and CMMS (Maximo).
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and equipment documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on equipment in Production, Development, and Quality labs.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance following procedures and safety standards.
• Ensure all work is documented in CMMS with accuracy.
• Communicate maintenance status and issues with operators and team members.
• Provide support during nights, weekends, holidays, or overtime as needed.
