Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of vocational nursing or licensed practical nursing.
• Texas LVN license/permit or temporary/compact license to practice.
• Basic Life Support certification; additional certifications may be required based on discipline and nursing unit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe and appropriate care to patients within licensure scope.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team and supports RN direction in care delivery.
• Participates in systemic evaluation of programs and process improvement.
• Considers diverse patient needs across the continuum of care to optimize experience.
• Supports professional growth and may serve as preceptor or mentor.
• Adheres to regulatory standards and institutional policies; performs other duties as assigned.
