Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our patient services team. The role involves coordinating clinic operations, mentoring staff, triage, and ensuring data integrity and quality in line with regulatory standards.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of clinical experience, a Texas LVN license, and strong leadership and communication skills to support patient care and organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Licensed LVN in Texas with current license/permit
• BLS/CPR certification required
• Graduate of an accredited Vocational Nursing program; AMT/AAMA/NHA/NAHP eligibility may be considered

Responsabilités

• Acts as on-site clinical coordinator guiding care team and clinic workflow.
• Completes quality reviews and identifies process improvement opportunities.
• May serve as EMR super user and participate in staff education.
• Maintains knowledge of processes and attends update meetings; represents department.
• Interacts with all staff levels to resolve issues and ensure service quality.
• Monitors reports for data integrity and protects financial integrity of the facility.
• Prepares and presents department meetings and in-services.
• Communicates professionally with Patient Access customers and care teams.
• Cross trains to perform patient access tasks and assist providers.
• Provides direct patient care within scope of certification/license.
• Supports HR with coaching and mentoring of staff.
• Participates in disasters and safety procedures.
