Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide skilled patient care within a physician practice setting. The LVN will support diverse clinics such as CCC, Urgent Care, Urology, OBGYN, and Mental Health, coordinating care with physicians and staff.

Responsibilities include nursing assessments, IV and medication administration, venipuncture, EKGs, and using EMR systems, while maintaining safety and quality within established policies.

Qualifications

• Requires graduation from an accredited School of Vocational Nursing.
• Current State of Texas LVN license (or temporary/compact).
• Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients across multiple services/specialties.
• Coordinate care plans with multidisciplinary team and prioritize patient needs.
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and patient education.
