Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Bloomfield, CT is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist for a Monday-Thursday night shift (7:30 PM - 6:00 AM). The role supports the Loss Prevention Supervisor, observes daily activities in the Shipping Center, and informs supervisors of unusual security-related situations.

You will report to the Loss Prevention Supervisor. Key duties include identifying loss, reviewing CCTV evidence, conducting basic investigations, and performing security checks.

Responsibilities

• Identify forms of loss within the Distribution Center.
• Review CCTV and Access systems for evidence of theft or security violations.
• Conduct basic investigations into associate dishonesty.
• Perform security checks of building and yard areas.
• Maintain logs and prepare reports.
• Conduct loss prevention, safety, and shrinkage awareness programs.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed.
• Report unsafe conditions to appropriate personnel.
