Job summary

Southeastern Freight Lines is seeking a Linehaul Driver to transport freight between Service Centers and designated points. You will operate tractor-trailers, verify dispatch and loads, and ensure proper hazmat handling and placarding where required.

The role requires a CDL A with Hazmat, Tanker, and Doubles/Triples endorsements, a valid license, and the ability to pass background checks and DOT medical requirements. Customer service and professionalism are essential.

Qualifications

• 6 months driving experience or more.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to pass background check and alcohol and drug test.
• Valid Driver's License.
• CDL A with Hazmat, Tanker, and Doubles/Triples endorsements.
• Must read, comprehend, and write in English.
• Meet DOT medical and regulatory qualifications for commercial drivers.

Responsibilities

• Transport freight between Southeast’s Service Center or designated points.
• Operate a tractor-trailer (single or double) in various areas and weather conditions.
• Receive and verify dispatch instructions and loads against documents.
• Verify hazmat product description and placarding when applicable.
• Promote superior customer service and professionalism.
