Job summary

KDC/ONE in Manitowoc, Wisconsin is seeking a Line Leader to oversee assembly operations in Production. This role reports to the Production Supervisor and drives safety, quality, and efficiency on the line, ensuring timely production of the intended products.

Base pay is $24.00 per hour with shift premium. Responsibilities include coaching the assembly team, meeting KPI targets, conducting start-up, run, and shutdown checks, and maintaining 6S and PM routines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in basic math.
• Leadership experience or Assembly experience preferred at Northern Labs.

Responsibilities

• Meet performance objectives (KPI metrics).
• Coach/mentor assigned assembly team to improve metrics.
• Ensure safety, quality, service, and cost targets on the line.
• Develop, maintain, and improve pre/postproduction checklists for startup/run/shutdown.
• Oversee setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of line equipment.
• Perform weight checks and note variation trends; take corrective actions.
• Maintain 6S on the work area and update setup binder after SFO.
• Cross-train with Palletizers to cover absences and SME duties.
