Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Marietta, GA seeks a Behavioral Health Assessor for night shifts. You will conduct assessments in the Emergency Department or acute care units to determine the next level of care.

Collaborate with physicians, social workers, and other providers to tailor treatment, and work with families to develop safe discharge plans. You will coordinate care for complex psychiatric conditions and participate in service initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling.
• GA LMSW/LCSW or LPC licensure required or preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in adult/child behavioral health.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual assessments in ED/acute care to determine level of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and social workers for integrated treatment.
• Develop safe discharge plans with families and supports.
• Coordinate care for complex psychiatric conditions and referrals.
• Participate in service line initiatives.
