Job summary
American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift in Hawaii. Licensure as a HI RN and required certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP, FHM) are essential. BSN preferred and acute care experience is advantageous.
The role involves delivering coordinated nursing care on the Labor & Delivery unit, supervising staff, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Night shift runs 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM; local candidates are welcomed at travel rates.
Qualifications
- Active HI RN license is required.
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, FHM certifications required.
- BSN Bachelor’s degree preferred; acute care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Labor and Delivery unit in an acute care hospital setting.
- Night shift schedule, 06:30 PM-07:00 AM.
- Deliver coordinated nursing care following standards and nursing process.
- Supervise and direct nursing staff and coordinate with other disciplines.
- Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and develop care plans.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and providers to ensure safe, humane care.
- Participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care.
- Provide patient and family education during care process.
