Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for night shift in Pleasant Prairie, WI. This assignment requires AWHONN Intermediate certification and Epic proficiency, with a focus on high-risk obstetric care and neonatal support.

The role offers a 3x12 night schedule, 36 hours per week, and a 13-week contract. Must hold active WI or Compact RN license, BLS/NRP, and relevant L&D experience. Local candidates accepted within 50 miles at a reduced rate.

Qualifications

• Active WI or Compact RN license
• Current BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications
• AWHONN Advanced certification preferred
• 2-3 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Fetal monitoring and neonatal resuscitation experience
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two supervisor references required, with one from most recent assignment

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care across antepartum, labor and delivery, and postpartum stages
• Perform newborn assessments, APGAR scoring, and neonatal care in the delivery room
• Support high-risk deliveries and assist with C-sections
• Administer medications including Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, and antihypertensives
