Job summary

Cynet Health seeks an RN - Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment on the night shift in Hawaii. Delivers nursing care and collaborates with the care team to support mothers and newborns.

Requires RN license in the state, CPR/BLS/NRP/FHM/ACLS certifications, with BSN preferred. You will supervise staff, develop patient care plans, participate in discharge planning, and promote safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice is required.
• CPR certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor is required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from approved vendor is required.
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification is required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor is required.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
• Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment.
• Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes.
• Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
• Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes and participates in discharge planning for continuity of care.
• Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.
