Job summary

Antech Diagnostics, a Mars Science & Diagnostics company, seeks a Laboratory Generalist 1 in Irving, TX. You will receive and prepare samples, run tests, and release results, with emphasis on accuracy and quality control. Weekend coverage and an 8-hour shift from 11pm–1am are part of the schedule.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, science-related degree preferred, and prior lab experience is a plus. We value integrity and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Laboratory skills and science background required or preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Strong organization and data entry capability.

Responsibilities

• Receives and prepares samples for laboratory analysis or sends out tests.
• Performs startup and required maintenance on analyzers.
• Perform all required quality control per QA guidelines.
• Train in all areas according to SOPs.
• Enter and release results.
• Participates in lab efficiency improvements and cooperation.
• Participate in departmental training programs.
• Reconcile pending lists.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
