Antech Diagnostics in Irving, TX is hiring a Laboratory Generalist 1 to receive and prepare samples, run tests, set up instruments, and read results. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced lab environment.

You will perform startup and maintenance on analyzers, execute quality control steps, and contribute to lab efficiency while adhering to safety and QA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, 2- or 4-year degree in science-related field preferred.
• Prior lab experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Receive and prepare samples for laboratory analysis or send out tests.
• Perform startup and required maintenance on analyzers.
• Perform all required quality control per Quality Assurance guidelines.
• Train in all areas according to all Standard Operating Practices.
• Enter and release results.
• Participates in improving lab efficiency, quality, and cooperation
• Participate in all departmental training programs.
• Reconcile pending list.
• Perform other duties as assigned
