Job summary

Compass Group's Levy division is seeking a dependable dishwasher to maintain clean kitchen areas and equipment, and to perform dishwashing, sanitation, trash removal, and equipment handling in line with safety standards.

Essential duties include sweeping and mopping floors, washing work surfaces, dishes, pots and utensils, steam cleaning cans, operating dishwashing machines, lifting and moving supplies, and assisting with banquet setup as needed.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps and mops floors at appropriate intervals to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and all other food preparation surfaces as assigned.
• Washes dishes, pots, pans, utensils and other food preparation machines and equipment.
• Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans in appropriate and assigned areas.
• Complies with all outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Operates large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors and glass crushers.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas while observing all safe lifting standards.
• Assists with loading, unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers.
• Assists with banquet table and front-of-house setup as requested.
• Arrives at the scheduled time and adheres to all required break times.
• Adheres to all Company appearance standards and policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
