Job summary

Levy, part of Compass Group USA, is hiring a kitchen steward/dishwasher to maintain dishes, pots, pans, trays, and prep areas in a clean and sanitary condition. You will support a fast-paced food service operation in venues across the country, following safety standards and sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and loads them into the dishwashing machine or racks as assigned.
• Washes pots, pans and trays and ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using appropriate equipment and chemicals and maintains sanitation.
• Follows outlined safety procedures and maintains temperatures and chemical levels.
• Keeps the dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to meet sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators and other prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and empties designated containers; steam cleans or hoses garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies between storage and work areas and helps load/unload supplies and product.
