Job summary

Energizer is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist in Asheboro, NC to manage battery inventory from ordering through receiving, counting, and loading for shipment. The role requires a 12-hour night shift (7pm–7am) on-site with potential forklift duties and close coordination with planners to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.

Proficiency with SAP ERP and Microsoft Office is required, along with strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• 2 yrs experience in inventory control, materials management, warehousing.
• Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and maintain accuracy in records.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety standards at all times.
• Perform quality checks and record data as required.
• Make adjustments to maintain quality standards.
• Recognize opportunities for continuous improvement affecting safety, quality, and productivity.
• Receive, report, and process materials and MRO items; manage receipts and records.
• Schedule shipments back to vendors for rejected materials.
• Operate a forklift with a valid license when required.
• Collaborate with planners/buyers and plant scheduler on material flow.
