Mass General Brigham's North Shore Medical Center is seeking a Phlebotomist to collect and process blood specimens for laboratory testing on a 32-hour night shift (Sunday through Wednesday, 11:00pm–7:00am) at 81 Highland Avenue in Salem, MA.

The role requires accurate patient identification, proper specimen labeling, and adherence to HIPAA and safety standards while delivering compassionate patient care and collaborating with care teams in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy skills and blood collection procedures.

Responsibilities

• Obtains quality blood samples using phlebotomy methods for all age groups.
• Ensures accurate patient identification, labeling, processing and transport of specimens.
• May assist in patient care emergencies in inpatient settings.
• Communicates clearly with patients and care teams to ensure satisfaction and understanding of procedures.
• Follows safety protocols for handling sharps and biohazardous materials and maintains HIPAA compliance.
