Qualifications

• Must read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Able to perform simple math and understand loading instructions.
• Capable of loading/unloading freight by hand or with hand trucks/dollies.
• Will use carts, dollies, pallet jacks and tow motors.
• Able to lift heavy materials and handle shipments per DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight according to DOT requirements.
• Move items on and off trucks by hand or using hand trucks/dollies.
• Sort and secure items on trucks or docks to prevent damage.
• Perform daily paperwork related to job execution.
• Work safely and in compliance with regulations.
