Job summary

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, BLS certification within 60 days, and CNA experience is preferred. Strong communication and computer skills, plus bilingual English/Spanish abilities, are appreciated.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required within 60 days after hire
• CNA certification preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Computer literacy preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists in direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
• Documents patient care activities and data accurately
• Performs clinical skills such as vital signs, aseptic technique, specimen collection, basic therapies
• Performs activities of daily living duties (bathing, feeding, grooming)
• Assists with admissions, transfers, or discharges
• Performs unit receptionist and clerical tasks and maintains a clean patient environment
