Job summary

Mission Health is seeking an advanced practice provider to join Asheville Cardiology Associates’ inpatient focused critical care team in Asheville, North Carolina. This role involves treating Cardiac ICU patients and requires certifications like BLS and ACLS.

The position features nights only with a .9 FTE and a competitive compensation package, including health benefits and 401(k). Join a leading cardiovascular practice dedicated to high-quality cardiac care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited physician assistant or nurse practitioner program with appropriate certification exams.
• Has, and maintains, current license with the North Carolina Medical Board.
• BLS, ACLS certification required.
• Cardiology APP experience preferred; and/or cardiology clinical rotations.
• Must be able to see and treat Cardiac ICU/Critical Care patients.

Responsibilities

• Join inpatient focused critical care cardiology team.
• Participate in rounding, admissions, and new patient consults.
• Share in STEMI call with Interventional Cardiologists.

Skills

Current North Carolina medical license

BLS certification

ACLS certification

Cardiology APP experience

Ability to treat Cardiac ICU/Critical Care patients

Education

Completion of accredited PA or NP program
