Atrium Health Pineville is seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing critical care team in Pineville, NC. The APP will work in a 30-bed Adult Medical/Surgical ICU and 16-bed Cardiovascular/CTICU, collaborating with intensivists and a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care.

The role requires ACNP/PA certification, NC license, and BLS/ACLS, with ICU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an ACNP or PA program.
• ACNP certification required; NCCPA PA certification for PAs needed.
• Post-graduate ICU fellowship or ICU experience preferred.
• North Carolina license, NC DEA, BLS and ACLS required.

Responsabilités

• Daily assessment, management, and documentation of critically ill medical and surgical patients.
• Admission and ongoing management of patients from the operating room after complex cardiac surgery.
• Management of hemodynamically unstable patients from cath labs and interventional cardiology.
• Collaborate with intensivists, surgeons, cardiologists, pharmacists, nurses, and other team members.
