Job summary

The Country Home Memory Care in Morris Plains, NJ is seeking a dedicated Hospitality Aide to provide non-clinical support to residents during the night shift.

You will assist with daily activities, help with meals, keep rooms clean and safe, and collaborate with the nursing team to enhance residents' quality of life. High school diploma required; prior healthcare or hospitality experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in healthcare, customer service, or hospitality preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and engage with residents through conversation, activities, and social interaction.
• Assist residents with non-medical needs, such as making beds, tidying rooms, delivering linens, and ensuring personal items are accessible.
• Help residents during mealtime by serving meals and assisting with food and drinks.
• Respond promptly to residents' calls for assistance and notify clinical staff as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized living spaces and deliver linens and supplies.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning dining areas and ensuring a pleasant environment.
• Support residents’ dignity and independence in daily activities.
• Collaborate with nursing and care staff to meet residents' needs.
• Assist with transporting residents to activities and appointments within the facility.
• Support activities by helping residents participate in events and navigate to activities.
