Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree.
• Massachusetts NP or PA licensure with current certifications.
• Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support active.
• DEA registration if prescribing and MA Controlled Substance Registration.
• Minimum two years of NP/PA experience with adult medical patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight clinical coverage for Hospitalist patients with cross-cover and escalation as needed.
• Coordinate care with specialty physicians and maintain thorough documentation.
• Maintain certifications and CCH medical staff appointment as allied health provider.
• Collaborate with attending hospitalist; ensure supervision scope is respected.
• Work under pressure, be patient-focused, and communicate effectively with the care team.
• Comply with policies and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as requested and provide service excellence to patients and staff.

Education

MSN – Master of Science in Nursing

CNP – Massachusetts licensed Nurse Practitioner

MPAS – Masters from ARC-PA accredited program

PA – Massachusetts licensed Physician’s Assistant

BLS – Basic Life Support

ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support

DEA Registration
