Job summary

Emerson Hospital in Massachusetts is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide daily inpatient evaluation and management in collaboration with hospitalist and surgical teams. The NP will supervise day-to-day patient care with on-site physicians and ensure privileges and prescribing status are maintained.

The role requires MA NP licensure, national certification, ACLS and BLS, and a minimum of two years acute-care/inpatient experience. Per Diem night shifts with on-site support are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing and an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Acute-care/inpatient experience: 2 years (Acute-Care NP diploma or Adult NP).
• Current MA NP licensure; national certification with recertification every six years.
• ACLS certification; BLS Healthcare Provider; hospital privileges at Emerson Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily evaluation and management to inpatients in collaboration with hospitalist or surgical teams.
• Work under supervision with on-site hospitalists/attendings; ensure licensure and prescribing status compliance.
• Participate in team-based patient care supervision and maintain clinical documentation in the EMR.
